You could say that your entire life consists of routines. A routine is nothing else than something that you do regularly. Once a day, twice a day, once a week, once a month etc.
Now, there are good routines and bad routines.
A good routine is something that makes you feel good or contributes to your wellbeing.
A bad routine is something that doesn’t make you feel good. Easy as that.
We don’t realize how powerful routines are until we change a small thing that we do daily and see the big effect that it has on us.
Small changes could be:
Sometimes we become so accustomed to what we do daily that we don’t question it anymore. And then we wonder why we don’t feel good.
Today I want to give you an easy assignment that will change your life.
Take a piece of paper and a pen and write down the five things that you spend the most time on during your week.
Your list might look like this.
Here are three questions I want you to ask yourself after you’ve made your list:
If not, what can you do to change these daily/weekly routines to either make them more enjoyable or to replace them with things that make you feel good?
The truth is: You’re more powerful than you think you are. You chose what you do daily and if what you do is not serving you, you’re the only person who can change it.
