When I was 15 my dance teacher invited me to join the performance group in our dance school, which was a huge deal for me at that time. I still remember that day so vividly. He called me into the office and told me that he really likes my dancing.
My inner voice screamed: Yeaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!
The group was put together with the best dancers of the school and this was my dream since I started to go there.
I was so excited about it, that I almost felt a little bit sick.
A few days later, I had my first class with the other performers. I was the youngest and the most inexperienced dancer in the room. Instead of living out my dream and rocking the house with my
dance moves, I was too shy to even speak. It was the most exciting and most terrifying moment at the same time.
Did you ever feel that way, too?
You're totally into something, but at the same time, you're so shy and scared to do it. One part of you wants to hide into a corner and dissolve into nothingness and the other part wants to be
the center of attention. It's almost as if you have two personalities.
You know what I mean?
Maybe you have the same problem. Maybe your heart is beating for that one particular thing and you can't stop imagining how it would feel to be on stage, to speak in front of a lot of people, to
make your own website, to start your own career as a yoga teacher.
If you're too shy to show your greatness, today's video is for you. Here are two tips that will help you to get over yourself.
Thanks for watching!
